Join us for two compelling documentaries
We hope you can join us for two powerful films and conversations with their directors.
Our first talk will be with Beth Lane, director of UnBroken, the miraculous true story of the seven Weber siblings, ages 6-18, who evaded certain capture and death, and ultimately escaped Nazi Germany relying solely on their youthful bravado and the kindness of strangers, following their mother’s incarceration and murder at Auschwitz.. We'll speak with Beth on Tuesday, April 22, 5:30 PM on Zoom. UnBroken is available to be rented on for viewing on Apple TV+, YouTube, and Prime Video.
Our second talk will be with Tarek Albaba, director of 36 Seconds: Portrait of a Hate Crime, which examines the 2015 killings of three young Muslim-Americans, and how their families had to become activists in order to seek justice. We'll speak with Tarek on Monday, April 28, 5:30 PM on Zoom. 36 Seconds can be viewed on Apple TV+.
We hope you can join us for all of these illuminating conversations.
