We invited Rabbi Charlie and Azhar to reflect together on Juz’ 7 (the Quranic reading for this day of Ramadan) and a corresponding text from the Passover Hagaddah and midrash about our shared ancestor, Abraham, and what we learn from his iconoclasm in this moment.

Ramadan is a time of self-reflection and self-restraint. It is also a time for looking outward to build and strengthen community. As we transition from the pandemic to the endemic, we remain mindful of what it means to gather safely. To ensure the health of our at-risk community members, we will hold this year's community Iftar online one more time, with an engaging and enriching program that will bring us together. We hope you will join us for the warmth and the learning.
